• Efficient Shredding Process: The system begins with a single-shaft shredder equipped with a movable hopper, effectively breaking down compacted bales of plastic films into manageable sizes.
• Advanced Wet Granulation: The shredded films are conveyed to a wet granulator/crusher, where heavy-duty knives rotating at high speeds cut the material into small flakes. A customisable screen controls the flake size, and water sprayed into the cutting chamber partially washes the material and acts as a lubricant to reduce friction.
• Superior Cleaning Mechanism: Ten/Ta/To sink/float tank serves as an effective cleaning station. Rotating paddles move the plastic flakes along a water-filled tank, allowing contaminants such as mud and small stones to sink to the bottom for removal.
• High-Density Output: The cleaned plastic film is then processed by a squeezer, where it is densified into irregular pellets using a large screw and heaters. This significantly increases the material density to approximately 350-410 kg/m³, optimising it for storage and transportation.
