This granulator is engineered specifically for long, rigid materials — especially PVC pipes, vinyl window and door profiles, PVC siding, and similar rigid thermoplastic extrusions.
D2 alloy blades are easily accessible through the hydraulic opening chamber. Fixed blades are adjustable to maintain the optimal cutting gap as wear occurs, and rotating blades can be resharpened multiple times before replacement.
Output size is controlled by the interchangeable screen mesh. Standard screens produce regrind suitable for direct re-extrusion or pelletizing. Custom screen sizes are available to match your specific downstream requirements.
While optimized for rigid PVC, this granulator can also process other rigid thermoplastics such as HDPE and PP pipes. For very large diameter HDPE pipes (above 600mm), we recommend our large diameter pipe crusher instead.
