How It Works: Key Equipment Explained
Think of the high-speed friction washer as the powerhouse cleaner in your plastic film washing line! While optional, it’s highly recommended for achieving superior cleanliness. Inside, a long shaft spins rapidly, equipped with specially angled paddles. This dynamic core is encased in a mesh screen tunnel that helps remove water efficiently. The entire assembly sits within a chamber fitted with strategically placed water jets, ensuring a thorough scrubbing and rinsing of your plastic materials.
Our Sink-Float Tank is a clever, dual-action hero in the recycling process:
- Deep Cleaning: Plastic film gets a good soak in a large water tank. This simple immersion effectively loosens stubborn dirt and contaminants.
- Smart Separation: Thanks to density differences, the loosened debris and heavier materials (like sand or metal fragments) naturally sink to the bottom. The valuable plastic film floats effortlessly on top, ready to move to the next stage, while contaminants are easily removed from the tank.
Squeezer (Dewatering & Densifying)
Getting the moisture out is crucial before the final transformation! The squeezer is the final drying stage before extrusion, where plastic film is melted, formed, and cut into pellets. Why is drying so important? Any remaining moisture trapped in the film can turn into steam during extrusion, creating unwanted bubbles and compromising the quality of your final plastic granules.
Our squeezer tackles this challenge head-on. It uses mechanical force to compress the plastic film, literally squeezing out the water, while gentle heating aids the process. This not only dries the material but also densifies it, making it ideal for feeding into the extruder. The result? Film with a moisture content typically around just 3% – perfect for producing high-quality, bubble-free pellets!
