What machine shreds EVA foam sheets?

Single-shaft shredders with V-cut rotors and appropriate screen selection effectively shred EVA foam sheets into 20-50mm pieces. The elastic nature of EVA requires sharp blades and optimized cutting geometry to achieve clean cuts without stretching or tearing. Output feeds into washing or pelletizing systems.

Can shredded EVA foam be directly pelletized?

Yes, clean shredded EVA foam can be pelletized through a single-screw extruder with appropriate temperature settings (EVA melts at 70-110°C depending on VA content). The pelletized EVA is used as feedstock for injection molding, compression molding, and compounding applications.
