Answers to common sizing, maintenance, and material-fit questions for
large rigid plastic granulation.

A granulator uses high speed and sharp blades to cut plastic into small, uniform granules. It
is suitable for hollow or rigid items within the granulator duty window. A shredder uses
lower speed and higher torque for thicker or tougher material. For very thick rigid parts, a
shredder first is often the better choice.

The D2 blades can be removed for sharpening, and we recommend routine inspection based on
your material and operating hours. We also offer blade sharpening support for in-house
maintenance planning.

This series is optimized for rigid plastics. Soft films may require a different rotor setup
