Big Bag (FIBC) Shredding Machine Trial Run

Watch a single-shaft shredder process 1-ton FIBC and jumbo bags made from woven polypropylene. The trial shows controlled feeding and size reduction of bulky bags with reinforced seams, lifting loops, and optional inner liners.

What This Trial Demonstrates

FIBC bulk bags are flexible but difficult to feed consistently. Their woven fabric, webbing loops, and reinforced seams can wrap around a conventional rotor. In this test, the hydraulic pusher keeps the material engaged with the cutting rotor while the low-speed, high-torque cutting action reduces the bags without relying on manual force-feeding.

The final particle size is controlled by the screen and selected according to the next recycling stage. Depending on the bag’s previous contents and contamination level, shredded woven PP can continue to washing, drying, densifying, or pelletizing.

Configuration Is Matched to Your Material

Rotor design, screen opening, drive power, feeding method, and downstream equipment are selected for the actual bag construction and required throughput. Share sample photos, previous bag contents, liner type, and hourly capacity so we can recommend a suitable configuration.
