Post-Consumer PE Film Washing & Pelletizing Line Test
This pre-shipment acceptance test follows a turnkey line configured specifically for post-consumer PE film. It checks how the washing, squeeze drying, extrusion, filtration, and pellet cutting stages operate as one coordinated process.
Unlike a mixed PP/PE commissioning test, this page focuses on PE film feed and the conditions needed for stable downstream extrusion. The line is evaluated with attention to washing consistency, moisture reduction, melt stability, and pellet appearance.
After size reduction and friction washing, rinse and separation stages remove loose contamination. A squeezer-dryer compacts the clean film and reduces the thermal load before extrusion.
For suitable PE film feed and a correctly configured drying route, final moisture before pelletizing is typically planned around approximately 3–5%. Actual results depend on incoming moisture, contamination, feed stability, screen condition, and operating settings.
