PP Nonwoven Pelletizing Line Trial Run

This trial run follows a PP nonwoven pelletizing line built for lightweight meltblown, spunbond, filter-media trim, and similar post-industrial fabric scrap. The test concentrates on steady feeding and melt quality rather than simple size reduction.

Loose nonwoven scrap has low bulk density and can feed an extruder unevenly. A cutter-compactor cuts, mixes, and densifies the material first so the screw receives a more stable intake.

After compaction, the PP passes through controlled extrusion, vacuum degassing, and melt filtration. These stages help manage residual moisture, trapped gas, finish oil, and light contamination before pellet cutting.

During the trial, engineers review feed continuity, melt pressure, filtration behavior, strand or water-ring cutting performance, and the consistency of the cooled pellets.
